Starting with adolescence we offer annual physical exams, pap smears, birth control, as well as visits for specific needs and concerns. A holistic approach to these visits includes a review of common lifestyle choices.

Nutrition and Lifestyle Counseling
This visit includes a full review of lifestyle choices and stressors with a focus on how behaviors impact health. We use nutrition, relaxation techniques, exercise, and supplements to strengthen health and improve quality of life.
Energy Medicine
Disease begins with the development of blocks in energy flow, due to emotional, spiritual, and physical stressors in life. Rachel uses Reiki and the W.I.S.E. Method™ (Wholistic, Integrated, Spiritual, Energy) to evaluate energy flow in the body. Blockages often occur long before symptoms of disease manifest. Keeping our life force energy flowing promotes wellness throughout our physical body. Practitioner guided energy opens the chakras and meridians located throughout the body to balance the energy and speed the healing process. These healings are successful in treating health problems associated with hormone imbalance (difficult menstruation, infertility, migraine headaches, insomnia and weight gain and menopausal symptoms) as well as generalized anxiety and fatigue. Strong energy flow promotes the healing of specific injuries and illnesses, provides general relaxation and continued good health.
Prenatal Care
Standard prenatal care is enhanced with generous visits that invite growth and exploration. Time for questions, concerns and development of your own care needs are included in each visit. This is particularly helpful for new mothers and mothers with special concerns. We work with several area midwives and physicians to provide labor and birth care. As you develop your own birthing desires and needs, a variety of birth options are available.
